VG-827 Portable video Signal Generator
Up to 150 MHz, Analog/Digital Supported A4 Portable Model
VG-827 is a compact, lightweight and low-cost portable video signal generator that maintains compatibility with analog output types of VG series (panel ROM), and made into A4 sized unit by the gate array developed by us. The unit supports horizontal timing accuracy to be set as accurate as one dot. The video output types of RGB analog, RGB digital up to 8 bits, low voltage digital serial outputs (panel link or LVDS) are provided, thus it proves to be an exceptionally useful tool for R & D, inspection and testing, etc. of display units, whether it is a CRT, LCD or PDP.

Lightweight and low-cost portable video signal generator that maintains
compatibility with analog output types of VG series (panel ROM), and made into
A4 sized unit which is achieved by Astro's unique gate array. Provided with
digital 1/2 clock mode (parallel output of two dot data for EVEN and ODD by 1
clock), dot clocks ranging from 5 to 75 MHz (1/1 clock mode), and from 10 to 150
MHz (1/2 clock mode) can be supported.
･ Registration via on-screen menu
By using an optional remote box (RB-649), manus can be displayed on any timing
display unit, and program data can be edited and registered on a panel ROM via
the on-screen menus.
･ Low voltage digital serial output
Low voltage digital serial output is provided to reduce EMI in transmitting
signals. Either of panel link output or LVDS output can be selected.
